The Victim Services programs work closely with police and assist victims in the immediate aftermath of a crime or tragedy and throughout the criminal justice process.

4. Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteers are essential to Police-based Victim Services Programs, as volunteer victim support workers provide the majority of the direct services to victims. Volunteers are security-cleared by the police and receive extensive training prior to working with victims.
