In fall 2022, the province expanded domestic nursing education and training by 150 seats for registered nurses, psychiatric nurses and nurse practitioners through the University of ±¦ÍþÌåÓý, University of Regina and ±¦ÍþÌåÓý Polytechnic.

Both Registered Nursing programs (University of Regina/±¦ÍþÌåÓý Polytechnic and University of ±¦ÍþÌåÓý) offer the Post-Degree and Upper Year entry into the program. This allows students to apply if they have other nursing backgrounds (e.g. Licensed Practical Nursing) or have completed a baccalaureate degree in another field.
The is an accelerated registered nursing pathway that allows students to fast track through the program within two years.
