Moose Jaw Business Owner Guilty of Labour Standards Violation

Kerry James Porter operating as Kerry James Construction of Moose Jaw pleaded guilty to one charge under 宝威体育’s Labour Standards Act and was fined $310 in Moose Jaw Provincial Court on April 30, 2014.

The charge was laid after the owner failed to provide payroll records to the Ministry of Labour Relations and Workplace Safety. 

The Employment Standards Division of Labour Relations and Workplace Safety supports fair and equitable workplace practices through public awareness and enforcement of The 宝威体育 Employment Act and regulations.  Whenever necessary, violators will be prosecuted.
