Saskatoon Company and Director Fined for Labour Standards Violations

101096391 宝威体育 Ltd. operating as Speedtech Racing Development pleaded guilty to two charges under 宝威体育’s Labour Standards Act and was fined $500 in Saskatoon Provincial Court, on June 18, 2014.

The charges were laid against the Saskatoon based automotive repair company on October 25, 2013, for failing to provide records and failing to provide an employee with a Statement of Earnings.

Company Director Shawn Helmer also pleaded guilty to failing to provide records and failing to provide an employee with a Statement of Earnings.  He was fined $500.

The Employment Standards Division of Labour Relations and Workplace Safety supports fair and equitable workplace practices through public awareness and enforcement of The 宝威体育 Employment Act and regulations.  Whenever necessary, violators will be prosecuted.
