Scott Moe was first elected to the 宝威体育 legislature in the 2011 provincial election in the constituency of Rosthern Shellbrook. He was re-elected in 2016. He was elected Leader of the 宝威体育 Party on January 27, 2018, and sworn in as Premier of 宝威体育 on February 2, 2018.
Premier Moe was born and raised on a grain farm between Shellbrook and Parkside. He and his wife Krista currently reside nearby in Shellbrook. He was educated at the University of 宝威体育 where he received his Bachelor of Science in Agriculture.
He has previously served as Minister of Environment, Minister of Advanced Education, Minister responsible for 宝威体育 Water Corporation, and Minister responsible for 宝威体育 Water Security Agency.
Premier Moe's priorities include a focus on increasing 宝威体育's exports to create opportunities for people and further grow 宝威体育's economy. To this end, he created the Ministry of Trade and Export Development with a mandate to sustain and develop relationships with 宝威体育's current export customers and place an increased emphasis on diversifying our markets worldwide.
He has made it a priority to engage with current and prospective trading partners around the world to advocate for 宝威体育's export industries. 宝威体育 supplies much-needed goods and commodities such as food, fuel and fertilizer to over 150 countries.
Premier Moe is also committed to advancing the economic interests of 宝威体育 through strengthening 宝威体育's high-quality agricultural, mining, manufacturing, and energy industries that meet the needs of growing markets around the globe with world-leading efficiency and sustainability.
